Eckel 2-1/16 Hydra-Shift®

The Oil & Gas Industry has needed a specialized power tong with an integral backup. This tong is sized small enough and has the right amount of controlable torque output. It is designed so as to properly grip small tubulars such as small macaroni type strings of tubing.

This tong incorporates Eckel's Hydra-Shift technology for smooth tranfers of power and speed directly to the tubular. Special built in torque control valving allows the operator to pre-set the maximum desired torque for the connection. This tong also incorporates our new Radial Lock Door.
